Our main aim while implementing this project was to give our students and staff the chance to gain international experience. We wanted our students to study in different countries so that they could develop not only academically but also personally and culturally. In the same way, we aimed for our staff to strengthen their professional skills and create new collaborations through teaching and training mobilities. Another important goal was to increase the visibility of our university in Europe, to build new partnerships and to strengthen the existing ones. We also tried to take a more inclusive approach and make sure that participants coming from disadvantaged groups had equal opportunities. Our target was not only academic achievements, but also to support the overall development of our students and staff. We wanted our students to get to know European values, to feel stronger with a “European identity,” and in this way, to contribute not only to their personal growth but also to their sense of social responsibility and participation in civic life. We believe that the self-confidence, language skills and intercultural competences our students gained abroad will make them more active, tolerant and participative individuals in democratic life. For staff, our aim was that the experience they gained would contribute to the internationalization of our university and to a stronger integration into the European Higher Education Area.
