The main objective of this project was to strengthen the internationalisation of Hatay Mustafa Kemal University by providing inclusive and high-quality learning mobility opportunities for our students. Through these mobilities, we aimed to enhance students’ academic performance, intercultural competences, linguistic skills, and personal development, while also contributing to the institutional strategy of building sustainable partnerships with European universities. The project was designed in line with the Erasmus+ programme priorities, including inclusion, digitalisation, environmental sustainability, and active participation. By engaging our students in different academic and cultural environments, the project sought to create long-term impacts at individual, institutional, and regional levels, such as increased employability of graduates, improved academic recognition, and greater institutional visibility in the European Higher Education Area. In addition to these objectives, special attention was given to supporting students who faced socio-economic difficulties in the aftermath of the earthquake. By providing additional financial support for students with official AFAD certificates, the project ensured that disadvantaged participants could also take part in the mobility activities.
