Objectives

The SocialEASE Erasmus+ Internship Consortium set out to advance participants’ personal, academic, and professional development through practice-based, social-impact-oriented mobility, with a special focus on social entrepreneurship. Beyond employability, the project aimed to cultivate competencies such as problem-solving, creativity, adaptability, intercultural awareness, and civic engagement—capabilities central to addressing societal challenges. Aligned with Erasmus+ 2021–2027 priorities, the consortium promoted inclusion and diversity (by lowering participation barriers and offering tailored support), digital transformation (by using digital tools for selection, preparation and dissemination), and the green transition (by encouraging low-emission choices where feasible). A signature action was the Social Entrepreneurship Summer Camp (7–13 July 2025, Gümüşlük Akademi, Bodrum) which combined thematic training, hands-on workshops, and peer collaboration with students from 7 European universities. Participants both took part in the learning programme and supported the TED University organising team, gaining real event-management and teamwork experience. Ultimately, the project sought to strengthen European cooperation around social innovation, expand networks among partner HEIs (TED University, Yaşar University, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, and European partners), and nurture participants as socially responsible, digitally capable change-makers.
