By implementing the "Saving our Seas" project, our main goal was to raise environmental awareness among young people, particularly regarding marine pollution and sustainability. We aimed to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills in environmental protection, focusing on the importance of recycling, reducing plastic waste, and protecting marine ecosystems. Additionally, we sought to promote active citizenship, intercultural learning, and teamwork among young people from different countries. Through hands-on activities, workshops, and fieldwork, we hoped to inspire participants to take concrete actions in their communities to contribute to environmental sustainability. Our objectives included: 1. Increasing awareness of environmental issues, particularly related to marine pollution and plastic waste. 2. Promoting sustainable practices such as recycling and reducing waste. 3. Enhancing the participants' sense of responsibility towards the environment and their local communities. 4. Fostering intercultural dialogue and cooperation between young people from different countries. 5. Encouraging active citizenship and youth participation in addressing global environmental challenges. Through these objectives, we aimed to empower young people to become advocates for the environment and to inspire positive changes in their daily lives and communities.
