Objectives

The main reason we wanted to realize our project was to raise awareness about Dysphobia, which is seen between 3% and 6% of people in Turkey and around the world. Dyposophobia is defined as a psychological disorder in which people hoard unused items and have difficulty in disposing of them. This disease can cause severe loss of quality of life due to the items that fill individuals' living spaces. With our project, we aimed to provide participants and our target audience with important information about the causes, symptoms, treatment methods and how to approach people struggling with Dysphobia. One of the main goals of our project was to make people recognize that Dysposophobia is a serious psychological disorder and to raise awareness about the treatment process of this disease. Furthermore, we planned to ensure that participants and our target audience have the right information to guide patients to treatment. In addition, during the events, we aimed to raise awareness among the participants on how to recognize the symptoms of Dysposophobia so that they can be persuaded to seek treatment. Another purpose we had with the project was to create the right attitudes towards Dysposophobia patients. Those close to the patients should contribute to the treatment process with love and compassion, to help them cope with emotional difficulties. In our project, we aimed to raise social awareness by providing guidance to the participants and our target audience on how to treat patients. In conclusion, with the project we realized, we aimed to communicate that Dysphosophobia is an important disease that affects not only the individual but also those around them, and to develop a more conscious and supportive approach to this issue. Objectives 1-Supporting Intercultural Dialogue: We contributed to the strengthening of intercultural dialogue among the participants in order for different cultures to understand and interact with each other. 2-Creating Awareness on Lifelong Learning: We supported the participants to adopt the lifelong learning approach and become more conscious on this. 3-Increasing Creativity and Self-confidence: We enabled the participants to develop their creativity and thereby contributed to an increase in their self-confidence. 4-Promoting Volunteering: We helped to promote volunteering activities among the participants and encourage them to cooperate in social solidarity. 5-Raising Awareness of European Values: Respecting European values, we ensured the inclusion of participants in social life and encouraged them to raise awareness. 6-Increasing Participation in Erasmus Plus Program: Participants were informed about the Erasmus Plus Program and facilitated their participation in this program, and we informed them about access to rights.
