With this project, our primary goal was to raise awareness of environmental consciousness, digital skills, and sustainable agriculture. We aimed to develop environmentally conscious individuals among students, teachers, and administrators of participating institutions, create digital educational materials, and share best practices through international collaboration. We sought to enhance students' and teachers' knowledge and skills in environmental awareness, encouraging greater participation in sustainable environmental practices. Additionally, we aimed to make environmental education more accessible by producing digital learning content and promoting the effective use of technological tools in education. By introducing sustainable agricultural practices, we intended to raise awareness of water conservation, organic farming, and the efficient use of natural resources. This project also aimed to strengthen international cooperation among partner institutions, share educational practices from different countries, and explore how digital education can be integrated with environmental awareness. Through these objectives, we sought to help students, teachers, and local communities become more environmentally conscious individuals.
The main reason for applying for this project was to raise awareness of environmental consciousness, digital skills, and sustainable agricultural practices. Climate change and environmental pollution were among the issues that students and teachers were not sufficiently aware of. Additionally, during the pandemic, the need for digital education increased, while participating institutions lacked sufficient capacity to create digital learning materials. Therefore, the project aimed to develop educational materials to enhance environmental awareness in a digital environment. The experience of the Fındıklı Organic Fruit Producers Association in sustainable agriculture will help students and teachers become more knowledgeable about organic farming and water conservation. Furthermore, landslides in the Black Sea region, drought in Romania, and industrial environmental issues in the Czech Republic have made this project even more essential. We applied for this project to foster international collaboration and raise awareness of environmental consciousness and digital education.
