The primary objective of the project was to empower young people in entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, creating positive transformation at both individual and societal levels. Accordingly, the aim was to increase the participation of young people in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and equip them with knowledge and skills aligned with modern economic demands. The project organized training sessions and workshops to address youth unemployment, enhance innovative thinking skills, and help overcome barriers to entrepreneurship. Moreover, by promoting social entrepreneurship, the project encouraged young people to develop sustainable solutions for societal challenges and take active roles in this field. Through international collaboration, the sharing of best practices enabled the emergence of innovative ideas and allowed participants to integrate into entrepreneurship networks across Europe. The project aimed to foster initiative-taking among youth, disseminate the culture of entrepreneurship, and encourage the creation of socially beneficial projects, thus ensuring an inclusive impact.
The "Think Innovative, Be Entrepreneur" project emerged from a critical need to empower youth through entrepreneurship and innovation. In a rapidly changing global landscape, the economic challenges faced by young people—such as unemployment, lack of access to resources, and limited entrepreneurial skills—necessitated urgent action. In Turkey, particularly in regions like Diyarbakır, high unemployment rates among youth and societal barriers have hindered the economic potential of this demographic. The project also recognized that young people are naturally inclined toward innovation and creativity, but structural barriers prevent them from reaching their full potential. This project aimed to address these gaps by fostering an environment where youth could explore entrepreneurship as a viable career path while also promoting social entrepreneurship to tackle pressing societal issues. The project focused on the integration of young people into entrepreneurial ecosystems, with an emphasis on leveraging digital tools and methodologies. It aimed to equip them with skills that align with modern economic demands, such as innovation, critical thinking, and adaptability.
