The primary objective of this project was to strengthen the links between the socio-educational workers of the European animation farms, as well as the national and local links. There was also a desire to integrate the new members into the European federation. Indeed, a generational change has taken place within Belgian and European farms, and many new farm leaders were not yet familiar with the network of animation farms at national or European level. By organizing this integration of the new ones, we wanted on the one hand to inform them of the actions and possibilities related to our federations and on the other hand to motivate them to get involved in these associations in order to perpetuate the future actions of the European federation, and also hoped to bring out new common European projects. Obviously, we wanted to take advantage of this visit to introduce the European network to the specificities of the projects of our Brussels farms. It was a question of enriching each other with our knowledge among peers, having experts of all kinds within our network. This meeting was also an opportunity to gather around specific themes that are close to our hearts, in particular Animal Welfare (BEA), Sustainable Food (SA) and the inclusion of people with disabilities in our work.
