Background

STEM education is considered a driving force in preparing students for the future. Today's STEM students will solve the global problems of tomorrow to meet the UN's Global Sustainable Development Goals. This building of the necessary competences of the 21st century includes in-depth and comprehensive STEM knowledge, creative thinking, entrepreneurial mind, good communication skills, team behavior, problem detection, and problem-solving skills. This project aimed to respond to the needs of the new age and make the learning process inclusive and interesting for our students through the digitalization of the teaching and learning process, by incorporating the latest resources, an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach, and the modernization of lessons. Today’s global world presents teachers with new challenges. We are at the beginning of the 4th industrial revolution, and educators are faced with preparing a generation of students for many jobs that don’t even exist yet. Since we don’t yet know what jobs will look like as we progress further into the 21st century, it makes sense to educate our children with the skills and capacity to think outside the box with creative solutions through STEAM education.
