Objectives

The project aims to: - Share good practices to make teaching and learning more effective; - Create innovation- and education-oriented environments using drama, gamification, Web 2.0 tools, and project-based learning; - Increase teachers’ competence in innovative methodologies and their ability to integrate them into lessons; - Enhance students’ academic success, digital skills, language proficiency, creativity, and collaboration; - Promote a comprehensive approach to language teaching and learning; - Strengthen cross-border cooperation and institutional capacity through international exchange.

Background

We applied for this project to address the need for more engaging and effective learning environments by integrating innovative teaching methods and digital tools into school education. Our partner schools work with students aged 14–18, many of whom are disadvantaged, and face challenges such as low proficiency in basic skills, lack of opportunities to use English, and limited teacher training in new methodologies. The project responds to the demands of the digital age by promoting methods that foster motivation, creativity, and 21st-century skills, aiming to reduce learning disadvantages and prevent early school leaving.
