The project "Together Against Extremism" focuses on familiarizing individuals with the topic of extremism in its various historical forms in Europe. "Secondarily, it aims to develop the competencies of all participants. Competency development includes areas such as effective communication, efficient collaboration, and problem-solving." To achieve these goals, we are organizing a series of three trips across Europe. Fifteen selected participants will later apply their acquired knowledge, experiences, and skills in disseminating the project (through articles, reports, meetings with youth, and sharing experiences, among other methods). The YMCA Prague organization will present at the "Youth Working Group" meeting in Prague ("ŽUPAN"), where they will introduce other organizations to an innovative approach to working with disadvantaged young people. As a result, the "Together Against Extremism" project will have a broader impact on young people within communities and will also influence the practices of other organizations through innovation.
