Objectives

Our main objectives were to equip students with skills and knowledge that increase their employability and adaptability in a dynamic labour market. We aimed to integrate innovative teaching methods, strengthen digital literacy, and promote environmental awareness. Another key goal was to provide students with early exposure to job market realities in two EU countries, enabling them to compare opportunities and expectations. We wanted students to gain practical experience, improve professional English, and learn to collaborate effectively in international teams using digital tools. Ultimately, the project intended to bridge education and practice and to ensure that our students are better prepared for their professional careers.

Background

We applied for this Erasmus+ project to better align vocational education with the rapidly changing job market and its future needs. Our goal was to introduce innovative practices into economic education, strengthen students’ digital competencies, and enhance their adaptability. The project also aimed to provide students with real-world insights through collaboration with businesses and experts, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Additionally, we wanted to foster international cooperation between Czech and Italian schools, enabling students to gain cross-cultural experience, improve English communication skills, and develop teamwork abilities in international settings. This collaboration supports our schools’ shared mission: preparing students for successful careers immediately after graduation.
