The aim was to compare the different education systems in the countries involved. Joint discussions were to be held on site with representatives of the local administration, companies providing training, the employment office or school graduates. The aim was to find ways to improve the participating schools so that their graduates have better opportunities on the job market. This meant that there should be added value for current and future students.
Germany has the strongest and most practice-oriented vocational training system, which is closely linked to industry and offers very good career prospects. Romania also offers vocational training, but the system is less practice-oriented and less integrated into the world of work than in Germany. Italy offers a combination of theory and practice, but lacks a comparable practical orientation to the German dual system, which makes it difficult to enter the job market.
