Objectives

The "DiscoverEU for All" project seeks to promote inclusivity and diversity within the framework of the Erasmus program, placing special emphasis on ensuring that all young people, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds or physical abilities, can discover and connect with Europe's rich cultural tapestry. Through travel experiences designed to be fully inclusive, we strive to dismantle the barriers preventing young people from exploring the continent and connecting with other Europeans. The "Mediterranean Organization for Research and Development" commits to: Research and Development: We will research and develop itineraries and activities that are accessible to everyone, including those with special needs. This includes adapting routes, using support technologies, and training staff to ensure smooth travel experiences. Education and Awareness: We will organize workshops and seminars to educate tourism service providers about the importance of inclusivity, teaching them how they can adapt their services to be more welcoming to all. Connection and Networking: We will encourage the creation of a network of young travelers, where they can share their experiences, tips, and resources, thereby strengthening the Erasmus community and the sense of European belonging. With "DiscoverEU for All," we not only aim to provide travel opportunities to those who might otherwise not have them but also to enrich the Erasmus experience for all participants by fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of Europe's diversity.Within the framework of the "DiscoverEU for All" project, driven by the "Mediterranean Organization for Research and Development," a three-stage itinerary has been designed, especially for a group of 5 participants accompanied by 3 guides or facilitators. The first stage lies in the meticulous preparation of the participants. From the city of Burgos, emphasis will be placed on familiarizing them with the cultures and customs of the countries to visit, ensuring they have the tools and skills necessary for a fruitful journey. They will be equipped with basic manners, useful phrases in the local languages, and travel kits that include maps, guides, and emergency contacts. The second stage is the essence of the project. Over 12 days, the group will travel from Burgos to France, immersing themselves in its culture and landscapes. Then, they will cross into Belgium, where squares and Gothic architecture await them. The next stop will be the Netherlands, with its picturesque canals and rich history. Finally, they will delve into Germany, exploring its historic and modern cities before embarking on the return journey to Spain. Throughout the trip, collaboration with local agencies will ensure that all activities are accessible and inclusive. Having concluded the journey, in the third stage, participants and their companions will gather to share and reflect on their experiences. In Burgos, they will discuss what they learned, exchange anecdotes, and provide valuable feedback on the trip. This phase will culminate with the delivery of participation certificates, sealing a journey full of discoveries and inclusion. The "Mediterranean Organization for Research and Development" has witnessed inspiring success stories, living testimonies of the transformative impact of traveling and discovering new cultures. In "DiscoverEU for All," we not only aspire to offer a unique experience to our participants but also to sow the seeds for a more united and understanding Europe, generating future opportunities for all involved. It is an honor to have funding through the prestigious Erasmus program, a symbol of education and intercultural connection in Europe. In addition to the narrative and itineraries, our project presentation is enriched with images, maps, and graphics that provide a more visual and comprehensive perspective on the experience. Finally, we firmly believe that through "DiscoverEU for All," we not only seek to expand horizons and break barriers but also to build a more integrated and understanding European future for the next generations.
