The underlying objective of the Back to the Future project was to find an activity which allows young scouts from Finland, Greece and Ukraine to do something they are fundamentally interested in and in the meantime become more engaged in the international scout movement. The objective was also to strengthen project management and organizational skills of all parties involved. Through joined discussions the initial plans were formulated into the following project objectives: * Deepen understanding of sustainability, recycling and resource wise choices possible to any young person in their everyday life * Learn to appreciate our own heritage and identify what European nations have in common * Familiarise with traditions in different countries, which give inspiration to a sustainable way of life * Learn to use digital tools, which can be used to make an impact on others while promoting sustainability * Strengthen hope and endurance as well as give tools to act as an agent of change towards a sustainable future
