The aim of the project was to strengthen young people's understanding of societal decision-making and to offer them a concrete opportunity to participate in it. The project also sought to increase young people's trust in democracy and to develop their readiness to engage in public discourse and advocacy. Young participants took part in a parliament simulation, where they learned about party and committee work, constructive dialogue, and different methods of political influence. The event also aimed to enhance decision-makers’ understanding of young people's perspectives on current societal issues. During the simulation, participants drafted committee statements that were presented in a plenary session. In addition, the youth developed methods to increase young people's participation in decision-making. The overall objective of the project was to strengthen youth participation, civic knowledge, communication skills, and capacity for societal influence.
