The SPARK project aimed to achieve objectives aligned with Erasmus+ priorities (Inclusion, Diversity, Civic Engagement) for a social and educational impact. The 3 general objectives were: - To study the role of sport in the school system and its cross-curricular pedagogical aspects. - To understand the place of sport in society and enrich participants' knowledge. - To promote sport practice for all, without distinction. These goals were broken down into concrete objectives: - To highlight the convergences and divergences of educational practices through a field survey. - To encourage regular sport practice among students, particularly those with fewer opportunities, by removing potential barriers (disability, overweight). - To share and disseminate good pedagogical practices to enrich the teaching of sport within an interdisciplinary framework. - To develop participants' knowledge through meetings with experts (sport, nutrition, history, management). - To create tangible outputs (interactive quiz, podcasts) to stimulate young people's interest in physical activity. - To support inclusion through partnerships with local associations promoting sport for all.
The Lycée Robert Schuman, a first-time applicant accredited by Erasmus+, applied for KA210 to enroll the institution in a tangible dynamic of European cooperation. The "SPARK" project (Sport - Practice - Action - Recreation - Knowledge) used sport, a unifying and non-elitist theme, to promote European values. The project addressed 3 specific needs: - Social and Educational Inclusion: It primarily targeted students with fewer opportunities (a high proportion of students from Priority Urban Areas (QPV) in France; a rural zone for the Italian partner). For this audience, the project was essential for international openness, strengthening language skills, and consolidating European citizenship. - Health and Well-being: It aimed to promote sport practice for all. - Educational Innovation: The project met the need of teachers to conduct a transnational comparative study on the role of sport in schools. It enabled the exchange of good teaching practices in Physical Education and Sport (PES) and the development of a cross-curricular approach to sport in all subjects (history, arts, sciences), thus reinforcing the pedagogical expertise of the institutions in European cooperation.
