The main goal was to help students and teachers learn how to use water in a smart way. The project wanted to help them find new ideas to save water and to work together with other countries. The students and teachers worked on real activities to create and build tools that help save water. They also developed their creativity, science skills, and technical skills during the project.
The project was created to answer local and global needs about water management and climate change. In some areas, water resources are in danger. For example, around Beyşehir lake, the water level is going down fast because of climate change and bad farming practices. In other places, like Spain, drought is a problem for local farming, which is very important for the economy. Finally, there was a common need to help young people, teachers, and communities understand the problems of climate change, water scarcity, and how to manage water in a good way.
