The project aimed to raise awareness among a wide and diverse audience about international mobility opportunities, using an innovative and inclusive format: podcasts. The main objective was to promote broader and more equitable access to information (SO1), particularly for young people who are less connected to traditional channels. It also sought to raise the profile of mobility by creating a digital space bringing together young people, experts, and youth workers around collectively developed content (SO2). By training young people and youth workers in digital communication tools and media literacy (SO3), the project aimed to empower them to take a critical approach to information issues. Finally, the production of a sustainable tool, designed by and for young people (OS4), was intended to amplify the impact of the project beyond its duration and increase the diversity of the audiences reached.
The project responded to a need expressed by young people and youth workers: that of more inclusive, modern, and critical access to information about international mobility opportunities. It aimed to reach a wider audience than those traditionally targeted, including young people who are disconnected from traditional channels. By using podcasts, an accessible digital medium popular with young people, the project offered a new, inclusive, and engaging channel. It also responded to a need for skills development: training young people in digital issues, media literacy, content production, and oral expression. By involving them in all stages—ideation, production, and distribution—the project strengthened their autonomy, critical thinking, and power to act. It thus offered a relevant response to current challenges related to access to information, inclusion, and youth participation.
