Our aim with this project was to give young people with fewer opportunities an experience and a learning opportunity that they could not get on their own or with family support. We gave young people the opportunity to get to know a part of Europe, to meet new cultures and to strengthen their sense of belonging to the European Union. The trip gave them a learning and experiential opportunity that has since helped them progress in their studies and redefined their career choices. In addition, it was an important goal to strengthen their commitment to our association and they have since become active volunteers and active citizens for their peers and their communities.
