The main objectives of this project was to make our staff more aware of Adult Education delivery structures in other countries, create a greater degree of Internationalisation in our adult education provision and learn from and incorporate best practice in Adult Education delivery. This was intended to help inform our adult education sector restructuring and make staff more amenable to the potential changes that may be required.
CETB is undergoing a process of structural change in line with the department of education Further Education College of the Future strategy. As part of this change we are looking to create better structures for our adult education provision. This will include better support structures for both staff and learners. Through this project we planned to give staff an opportunity to examine alternative adult education structures, find best practice and create a greater degree of internationalization.
