Objectives

With the implementation of the project we expect to continue the path started during the 12 months of development of the project, since the participation of LGBTQ people and their integration with the other participants in the project has been very enthusiastic and active. In particular, the strategy of Visual Story telling was much appreciated, more complex initially, but then realized with the intention of developing it for other situations that allow the story of oneself and the communication of one's life stories to the widest possible audience. Very close relationships have also been created especially with the young people of the Cinema section that will allow the creation of new videos and opportunities for exchanging ideas and experiences even within the school.

Background

The vertical priority for which we proposed the project is to improve high-quality, flexible and recognized learning opportunities available to adults, providing a powerful boost to the development of inclusive teaching through a democratic training model made up of strategies and methodologies suited to the needs of each individual. The enhancement of the quality of adult training processes aimed to respect and capitalize on existing individual differences, to enhance active participation in the use of new strategies. The project intended to provide methodologies that stimulate and improve the quality of adult learning opportunities, updating their knowledge on Diversity Management, understood as a vehicle for spreading DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) strategies and on the potential that Visual Storytelling has as a means of effective communication through images and videos. With respect to the horizontal priority, however, the project wanted to promote the potential of creative storytelling as a cathartic means to bring about change, in order to ensure the social inclusion of individuals belonging to the LGBTQIA+ community.
