Objectives

The main objectives of the project were to enhance self-confidence and self-esteem among long-term unemployed individuals, build their motivation and proactive mindset to pursue employment opportunities, and cultivate creativity and entrepreneurial skills to foster innovation and self-employment prospects. Additionally, the project aimed to provide psychological support to address fears and traumas, develop financial literacy for sustainable economic well-being, and improve employability through effective CV writing and job search techniques. Ultimately, we wanted to empower participants to transition into active and productive roles within society and the economy.

Background

The application for the Unleash Potential project was developed to address the challenges of long-term unemployment in Lithuania, Italy, and Spain, where many adults face difficulties such as low self-esteem, lack of motivation, limited creativity, and poor financial literacy. The project aimed to empower these individuals by enhancing their personal and professional skills, providing psychological support to overcome trauma and fears, and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset to open new employment and self-employment opportunities. By targeting these needs, the project sought to support social inclusion and economic independence for a vulnerable group in society.
