Main objective: systematically integrate virtual reality and immersive environments into lower secondary curriculum (STEM, history, geography, arts), strengthen digital competences of students/teachers, increase study motivation/participation (focus fragile students), consolidate European cooperation between schools, local authorities, technology partners. Fully coherent with Erasmus+ priorities: digital transformation of education, key competences for lifelong learning, inclusion, school partnerships. Expected results: increased study motivation, better content understanding, conscious technology use, IT-GR good practices exchange.
We applied for this project to address emerging school needs: methodological innovation, teaching digitalization, and greater student engagement. Initial analysis showed insufficient basic digital skills in lower secondary students, low motivation for STEM/historical-artistic subjects, and need for inclusive methodologies for fragile students. The project addressed these by systematically integrating virtual reality (VR) into curriculum teaching, promoting active learning, European cooperation, and critical digital skills development. The partnership between Azzano San Paolo Municipality (administrative coordination), Comprehensive Institute (school experimentation), and InterMediaKT Greece (technological expertise) ensured a multidisciplinary approach
