The project was born from the following specific needs identified by partners in connection with the project lines: 1. exchange between different socio-economic and cultural realities in Europe regarding sustainability and green professions; 2. analysis of the sustainability sector and good practices of eco-governance in local territories in relation to European policies; 3. exchange of partners' experiences to support the development of "green" professions; 4. co-construction of a common action-research path for European training; 5. cooperation among managers, teachers, and students; 6. implementation of innovative training methodologies for green skills. In line with these needs, the partnership has worked to: 1. raise awareness of the socio-economic and cultural diversity of the reference territories; 2. compile a comparative study on the state of the art of green professions in light of local and European eco-governance; 3. implement specific training to green professions in a European perspective; 4. experiment with good green practices for the co-construction of an integrated, transferable, and replicable training curriculum; 5. create a stable transnational action-research team.
