“Upskill YOUth: mentoring and coaching techniques for youth workers” was a training course implemented by 6 partners from Europe: L’école des valeurs - Luxembourg, Scoala de Valori - Romania, Walk together - Bulgaria, Tavo - Lithuania, World of change - North Macedonia and EYCB - Czech Republic. The project involved youth workers from these organisations and prepared them for better communicating and addressing youths’ problems, needs and objectives through individual counselling. At the end of this journey we announce proudly that we achieved the 3 main objectives we have set for this training: 1. During the 12 months of the project, 24 youth workers improved their competences to lead individual consultations with young people based on the principles of mentoring and coaching. 2. By the end of the 12 months of the project, each of the 6 partner organisations incorporated individual consultations for young people including duration, content, evaluation, mentoring and succession plan. 3. By the end of the project, all 6 partner organisations improved their capacity to attract and retain youth by having increased the number of overall youth engaged in individual consultations.
