Objectives

The overall objective of the project was to promote inclusion and equality in adult education by strengthening the capacity and competitiveness of small and medium-sized adult education organisations in the use of digital tools and solutions. Project objectives: 1. To explore digital opportunities in adult education, identify suitable digital tools and solutions for partner organisations, and support their integration into daily work at all levels – management, administration and training delivery. 2. To develop and implement digital information tools in adult education, including photo and video production, introduction of digital “agile” information flow within partner organisations, development of a digital training platform, and use of hybrid technologies in the learning process. 3. To examine trends and applications of artificial intelligence in adult education, strengthening educators’ and organisations’ capacity to use AI tools in content development and delivery. 4. To increase the international cooperation capacity of partner organisations by enhancing communication skills, building reliable partnerships and creating a basis for long-term cooperation and future joint projects.

Background

The project idea emerged after the implementation of our first international mobility project, when we realized that partner organizations share a similar target group and common challenges. We identified an opportunity to join forces in a small-scale cooperation project to jointly address these challenges through virtual communication tools, EPALE resources, and previous cooperation experience. The main need was to strengthen digital competences in adult education within our organizations. So far, the use of digital tools has been limited, with a lack of systematic knowledge and practical experience in their application. Although we are familiar with the Digital Education Action Plan and digitalization trends, practical support was needed to implement these opportunities in everyday work. Small organizations lack resources to ensure adequate technical infrastructure and compete with large training centers, limiting opportunities for educators and learners. The project addresses this inequality by promoting blended learning, digital tools, video, and artificial intelligence in line with modern and target group needs, while reinforcing Erasmus+ priorities and ensuring long-term impact.
