Objectives

SENSE OF INITIATIVE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP The project was designed by a participants in the terms that participants had each different roles and one role was project writing. Through process of youth exchange, they developed important skills in taking initiative, planning, and finding creative solutions to challenges. They also gained experience in budgeting, managing stakeholders, and overseeing accommodations, all of which prepared them for real-life scenarios in work and education, helping to reduce the challenges they face in their own lives. STIMULATING ART AND CREATIVITY The young participants deepened their understanding of creative teamwork by learning how to create graffiti and specific drawings that express their feelings about democracy. This artistic exploration helped them reflect on the state of democracy in their respective countries and analyze areas in need of improvement. BOOSTING SELF-EXPRESSION The project enhanced the participants' ability to express themselves effectively and confidently. By creating presentations and organizing awareness events, they learned how to perform publicly and improved their fluency in both written and spoken English. DIGITAL COMPETENCES The project significantly strengthened the participants' digital competencies. They learned how to craft digital stories, create videos, write blogs, take photos, and perform tasks like photo editing, coding, and website creation. These skills prepared them for the demands of the digital age, enhancing their readiness for the future and aligning with Europe's need for digital literacy. Additionally, they learned to handle computers, lighting, and audio equipment, overcoming previous limitations due to financial constraints, which boosted their self-confidence and trust in technology. GREEN ERASMUS+ The project encouraged participants to adopt more sustainable habits, such as planning and using sustainable transportation and incorporating cycling into their daily routines. They also explored green living through vegan lifestyles and local transportation options. As they were responsible for preparing these activities themselves, they were prompted to think about the broader impact on their communities. For many, who lived at home in traditional families, this experience fostered innovation and brought about a positive shift in environmental practices. KNOWLEDGE ON EUROPE/DEMOCRACY Participants gained a deeper understanding of how democracy functions, learned how to make their voices heard, and strengthened their grasp of active citizenship. Through games and informal activities, they explored the structures of democracy in their home countries and learned from different local and national contexts. LEARNING TO LEARN Participants developed the skill of learning to learn. They gained insights into managing timelines, practicing self-discipline, and engaging in effective (intercultural) communication. They also learned to focus, set goals, and communicate effectively as part of the learning process. Additionally, they became more aware of the importance of staying present in the moment and understanding the impact of their choices. **Warning: Be aware that the timetable is not chronological due to editing issues, we needed to swype days based on the feedback of participants while also including safety measures and change the boat trip, please see the date next to the activity**
