We wanted to provide young people from Armenia with the opportunity to communicate with their peers from the EU. We wanted to bring them to the Netherlands so that they could experience one of the most democratic countries. The project was devoted to common European values, there were lost of discussions devoted to this topic. We wanted to provide also the Dutch youth with the opportunity to communicate with their peers from Armenia, to learn more about this country, its customs and traditions and democratic reforms which are happening in the country. The project’s objectives were the following. 1. To foster intercultural dialogue between young people from Armenia and the Netherlands 2. To create the opportunity for youth from Armenia to feel, to experience what means to be European 3. To better understand European values and breaking down prejudices and stereotypes 4. To create and develop the network of young people from Armenia and the Netherlands.
