Despite the fact that life expectancy around the world has increased over the last few decades, unhealthy lifestyles such as lack of physical activity, increasing smoking, drug addiction, excessive alcohol consumption and poor diet and nutrition are being repeated. This affects the spread of diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity. In addition to harming health, the current trend towards less active lifestyles limits opportunities for socializing, networking and cultural identification, which reinforces social exclusion and inhibits active citizenship. As a result of this scenario, they have many problems, including a sedentary lifestyle, poor eating habits, insufficient physical activity, and other harmful behaviors. In other words, young people, including socially excluded people, often lack social and physical activity. That is why we implemented this project so that young people can fully use their potential in the context of good health practices, healthy eating, physical activity, etc. and to prevent the repetition of bad habits. The project aimed to provide participants with new skills in healthy eating, physical activity, mental health and other components of a healthy lifestyle, such as sleep, weight, sun exposure, social interactions and self-acceptance. Furthermore, the project aimed to create a global network of young people committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle and active citizenship, as well as to increase the self-esteem and self-confidence of the participating youth. The project was intended to achieve the broad goals of the Erasmus+ Program by increasing participants' awareness and understanding of other cultures and nations, enabling them to create international networks, actively participate in society and develop a sense of active citizenship. Another goal of the project was also to emphasize the role of young people and improve their professional skills, increase understanding of other cultures and countries, enable international contacts, active participation in society and develop a sense of community in the EU, active citizenship and improving knowledge of foreign languages through interactions in English.
