Our primary objective was to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of VET students by equipping them with the knowledge, practical skills and innovative mindset needed to develop and implement viable business ideas. The project pursued four interconnected goals. Obj1improved key entrepreneurial competences: initiative, problem-solving, creativity, resilience, and responsible risk-taking through experiential learning. Obj2built venture-development skills, including business model design, business planning, financial literacy, marketing, and pitching. Obj3promoted cross-sector and cross-border cooperation through structured collaboration and exchange of best practices between vocational schools and entrepreneurship organisations in Romania and Hungary. Obj4strengthened visibility and transferability by raising awareness of entrepreneurship education approaches and results among relevant European institutions and stakeholders We produced sustainable learning resources: a structured curriculum and a dedicated online platform for integration into VET provision beyond the project period. We strengthened teachers’ capacity to act as facilitators and mentors through digital tools, learner-centred methods, and coaching-oriented approaches
As a response to a gap in VET: entrepreneurship is still insufficiently embedded in many curricula, despite being essential for employability and self-employment. Although VET learners acquire strong technical competences, our needs analysis showed limited opportunities to develop business literacy, strategic thinking, and initiative to turn vocational skills into viable ventures. Surveys and stakeholder consultations confirmed that over 78%of students were interested in entrepreneurship, yet only a small proportion had access to structured learning, practical tools, or mentorship We identified the need to strengthen teachers’ capacity to deliver entrepreneurship learning through learner-centred methods. Many VET educators reported limited preparation for digital delivery, interactive facilitation, and mentoring in business planning, pitching, and market validation. This justified an inclusive and practice-oriented intervention The project delivered a digitally integrated entrepreneurship programme for students, including learners from rural communities and those with fewer opportunities. It aligned with EU priorities on digital transformation, sustainability, and inclusion, strengthening employability in a changing labour market
