The primary goal of our project was to empower youth workers, social workers, teachers, activists, and peers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively integrate AI into non-formal education. To achieve this, we designed a comprehensive training program that covered the basics of AI, its potential applications in non-formal education, and the ethical concerns associated with its use. The program included workshops, debates, and hands-on activities, providing participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge on AI. Our objectives were: Enhancing knowledge and skills: We sought to improve the ability of youth workers, teachers, and peers to apply AI technologies in their work, offering more innovative and engaging educational programs for young people. Raising awareness: We aimed to promote the benefits of AI in non-formal education while addressing ethical considerations to ensure its responsible use. Fostering collaboration: By building a network of professionals from different sectors, we intended to create a platform for knowledge sharing and mutual support in using AI in youth work. Improving the quality of non-formal education: Our goal was to enrich non-formal education by incorporating AI approaches, thereby creating more engaging and effective programs for young people. Through this project, we aimed to make a lasting impact on both the participants and their organizations, empowering them to innovate and adapt their educational methods to better suit the needs of young people in the 21st century.
