The low rate of voting, which shows the political participation of the world's youth, is evidenced by the information referenced in UNFPA's 2020 State of the World Report. Accordingly, while 40% of the world's youth have the right to vote, only 25% do. The voting rate of young people in European countries varies from country to country. The voting rate of young people between the ages of 18-24 in EU elections can vary from 17% to 70%, but when we compare it to the general population, we see that the young people are the least voting part of the countries. Realizing that the participation of young people in political processes has increased in recent years, especially through social media and non-governmental organizations, we want to increase awareness on this issue with the support of our project, as well as participation in democratic life, and make young people aware of their strength. Even though the voting rate of young people in our country is low compared to other age groups, it has increased in recent years, because young people are aware of the problems that can be solved by political moves. Our project includes activities that will be beneficial to increase the participation of young people in political processes and to provide a more active citizenship through NGOs. The increase in digital channels, especially social media, allows young people to raise political debates and awareness. The participation of young people in political processes is important for influencing political decisions and is important for the healthy functioning of democratic processes. Young people also come together in countries where they are interested in politics, to participate directly in political decisions, to express their ideas and opinions, to hold political leaders accountable and to fight for social change. With this project, we aim to increase the interest of young people in politics so that they feel able to express themselves and be aware that they are represented. The objectives we want to achieve with our project are as follows; We are aware that it can be difficult for young people to understand the political processes and learn about their roles and effects in the system. Based on this, we aim to provide young people with information about common management systems and their operation. Some young people may be disinterested in politics, often because political processes seem boring or unimportant to their personal lives. We aim to increase their interest in the subject by informing young people about politics and its place in our lives. We aim to inform young people about active citizenship and citizenship education, being aware of the problems that young people do not have enough education on politics, the lack of programs that provide education about politics and political processes, the political processes are not suitable for the interests of young people, or the lack of adequate education programs in schools. Some youth may distrust political systems and politicians. It is also among our goals to ensure the confidence of the youth in these areas by examining the practices of the management/election&selection systems on site and through experts.
