Objectives

In recent years social enterpreneurship started to become popular all over the World. United Nations underlines the importance of social enterpreneurships in her 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. In Turkey especially in the last 10 years with the activities of Ashoka Foundation, which cultivates a community of change leaders who transform institutions and cultures so they support changemaking for the good of society, social enterpreneurships has started to emerge, a new social enterpreneurship environment has been created. The members of our Youth Group could find a chance to meet up with these social enterpreneurs, could find a chance to observe, analyze them. In Denizli city center we do not have any social enterpreneurship or any start up related to social enterpreneurship. As MB. Lütfi Ege AHS.Informal Youth Group,we have developed our project,to introduce, promote social enterpreneurship both in Merkezefendi and in Denizli city center. With our project we will increase awareness both about new and future job opportunities, social enterpreneurship mindset ,also we will encourage, motivate our participants to think about social problems of our region. MB. Lütfi Ege Anatolian High School Youth Group, which is involved in the social issues facing our community, has decided to carry out this project because they believe it is essential to encourage social entrepreneurship among young people. With our project, we hope to spread awareness of the value of having social entrepreneurship skills that enable people to come up with innovative solutions to the most urgent social, cultural, and environmental problems facing society. We have developed this project also for enforcing the assosiations and collaborations among the related organizations such as universities, high schools, municipilaties, businessmen related NGOs, local& national media and press by fixing their attention to the things that they can do cooperatively to build movement where anyone, anywhere, can take action to solve a social problem in their community. In addition,we want to dispel stereotypes of one another and demonstrate that young people from various cultures and nations can have constructive conversations, work together to support social entrepreneurship, and produce solutions to social problems rather than just ignoring them. In terms of human rights, democracy, and awareness of the EU,we want to assist our nation,Turkey, which is still in a candidate process.Through the activities,we want to encourage in young people the idea that social structure, cultural diversity, linguistic distinctions, and religious and philosophical beliefs are all valuable contributions to humanity that should be respected by all. The active involvement of young people and youth groups will be ensured throughout all phases of the project as well as during the main event in Denizli to promote the learning process of the youth and cooperation among them. We are confident that each participant will develop into a sort of ambassador for harmony, respect, innovation, and solutions for the partner organizations and nations' destinies. In our Project we have partners from The Netherlands, Slovakia, North Macedonia, Romania and Bulgaria. We also have a local stakeholders such as Merkezefendi Public Education Center, Merkezefendi Municipiality, Denizli Chamber of Commerce, Pamukkale University,City council etc. Each partner will attend the Project main activity in July 2024 in Denizli with 5 young participants aged between 16-25 and a group leader (no age limit for the group leaders) To summarise our goals: 1.Train 36 young people about social enterpreneurship, motivation and leadership 2.To increase the awareness of the participants about differences, increasing their creativity, initiating innovative acts, self esteem, motivation, and giving them the necessary tools to create their human centered designs 3.Introduce young people in Denizli with "social enterpreneurship", taking the first steps of our "non profit youth cooperative" in collaboration with our local stakeholders and authorities 4.Increasing the visibility of our youth group both in Denizli neighbourhood 5.Developing intercultural dialogues, tolerance among countries by introducing 6 different cultures to our 36 participants 6.Meeting with the local decision makers, introducing local decision makers to our participants. 7.Supporting the young participants' entrepreneurial, creativity, communication, digital, social, and organizational abilities through non-formal learning experiences including a combination of workshops, brainstorming sessions, training sessions, visits, debates, role-plays, and outdoor activities. 8.Helping young people participate in democratic life and learn to become active citizens 9.Enabling young people to join in and organize more volunteering activities to solve community problems 10.Taking the first step to build "non profit youth cooperatives" to support social enterprises
