The primary objective of our project was to support young people's physical and mental well-being by promoting healthy lifestyle habits and helping them make physical activity a regular part of their daily lives. In recent years, especially due to the pandemic, a significant increase in sedentary behavior among youth has been observed, resulting in various physical and psychological issues. According to reports by the World Health Organization, young individuals require at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily; however, pandemic-related conditions significantly hindered the ability to meet this need. This project was designed to address that gap and reintroduce young people into an active way of living. Sport is not only beneficial for physical health but also serves as a powerful tool for social interaction, inclusion, and intercultural understanding. In this context, our project centered around the unifying and inclusive nature of sport by bringing together young people from different countries and enabling them to experience the power of teamwork, communication, and collective action. Through sports activities, participants were expected to develop not only physically but also socially and culturally. As a result, their self-confidence, sense of responsibility, ability to form friendships, and openness to different perspectives were strengthened. Another key objective of the project was to increase awareness and knowledge of European-level youth programs such as Erasmus+ and Youthpass. This helped participants become more familiar with international opportunities and increased their motivation to get involved in similar future projects. The use of non-formal education methods encouraged participants to engage in the learning process more actively and voluntarily, contributing to the long-term impact of the outcomes achieved. Furthermore, the project aimed to contribute to the fight against social exclusion and promote a sense of solidarity by encouraging collaboration among young people from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. In doing so, the project fostered a consciousness against discrimination and helped participants grow into more open-minded and empathetic individuals. In summary, the overall objectives of the project were as follows: • To raise awareness among young people about healthy lifestyles and help them adopt such habits in their daily lives, • To strengthen empathy, tolerance, and solidarity through intercultural interaction among young people from different countries, • To enhance participants' knowledge of Erasmus+ and other European opportunities, • To support the social inclusion of disadvantaged youth and encourage their active participation, • To increase the skills, experience, and knowledge of youth workers involved in the project, • To use sport as a tool to boost psychological resilience and alleviate the long-term negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
