The unique natural habitats of our planet had been among the most essential living spaces for ensuring the survival of humanity and all other living beings. To have sustainably benefited from these invaluable ecosystems, it had been crucial to use resources efficiently, actively manage raw materials and waste, and follow recycling processes diligently. Moreover, it had been equally important for individuals to incorporate these practices into their daily lives within the scope of their personal capabilities. In this context, the project had primarily aimed to help participants—and those who engaged with the content produced—adopt an environmentally friendly lifestyle. The goal had been to explore how we had reflected the 3Rs motto (Reduce – Reuse – Recycle) in our lives and how we had reduced our footprint on Mother Nature. As these discoveries had unfolded, sharing them through social media platforms to reach the widest audience possible had been defined as a core objective. Within the framework of this main goal, the following sub-objectives had been identified: Participant-Oriented Objectives: 1. Participants had enhanced their ability to empathize with natural assets and had taken an active role in implementing activities related to forest ecosystems. 2. They had gained knowledge on environmental awareness and sustainable living—critical issues both historically and for the future—and had developed an understanding of the concept of being an eco-conscious individual. 3. They had developed positive skills related to environmental protection, empathy with nature, and environmentally friendly living, both within their country and across Europe. 4. Through our project, participants had acquired comprehensive knowledge about Erasmus+ and youth projects and had improved their project management competencies. 5. By experiencing Turkish culture firsthand, they had engaged in cultural exchange and had overcome their prejudices. 6. They had developed a sense of belonging within a group and had enhanced their ability to act collectively. 7. With the skills they had acquired, they had become environmentally conscious social media users. Objectives for Partner Institutions: 1. They had enhanced their mission and vision. 2. Their institutional project writing capacity and quality had improved. 3. Their visibility and prestige within their local areas had increased. 4. Their awareness and motivation regarding Erasmus+ and youth projects had been strengthened. 5. They had increased the number of participants involved in joint activities with different cultures. 6. Thanks to the international participants, they had gained potential partners for future project collaborations. 7. Through our project topic and activities, they had gained new perspectives. 8. They had become recognized organizations in their region within the context of youth projects. 9. They had been empowered to influence local decision-making mechanisms regarding the promotion of eco-friendly lifestyles and the implementation of related policies. Accordingly, the following main objectives had been defined for participants: First Objective: In line with participant objectives 2, 3, and 7, the aim had been to raise awareness about key topics a responsible citizen should know regarding the protection of natural assets and sustainable lifestyles. Second Objective: In accordance with objectives 2, 3, 6, and 7, the aim had been to raise awareness about the ways in which natural resources were harmed and to inform citizens on how they had empathized with and protected nature. Third Objective: Aligned with objectives 1, 6, and 7, the goal had been to raise awareness about the practical aspects of an eco-friendly lifestyle and to equip ordinary citizens with the skills needed to organize and promote these practices. Fourth Objective: Based on objectives 1, 3, 6, and 7, the aim had been to increase awareness about what individuals had done to support and implement eco-friendly lifestyles and to help them understand how to engage with public institutions for organized action. Fifth Objective: In line with objectives 4, 6, and 7, the goal had been to equip participants with extensive knowledge about Erasmus+ and youth projects and to develop competencies in project management cycles. Sixth Objective: Reflecting objectives 5, 6, and 7, the aim had been to foster cultural exchange and help participants overcome biases through firsthand observation of Turkish culture.
