The sun's rays pass through the atmosphere and warm the earth all day long. Some of the rays are reflected back into outer space after hitting the earth. In addition, the warming lands and seas start to cool due to temperature differences. Gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, water vapor and nitrous oxide absorb some infrared rays reflected back from the earth and reflect these rays back to the earth. This way they keep the earth at a livable temperature. This phenomenon is called the greenhouse effect, and the gases (carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and water vapor) that cause it are called greenhouse gases. The greenhouse effect is an important event for the continuity of life on earth. Without the greenhouse effect, all the rays coming from the sun would easily be reflected back into space, and the sea and land, which were warmer during the day, would cool very quickly at night. Because these greenhouse gases work like a kind of heat storage medium. The heat stored in these gases contributes to keeping the world at a livable temperature. Due to the uncontrolled increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, more sun rays are kept with greenhouse gases and they warm the earth. Increasing the greenhouse effect causes Global Warming and climate change. Due to global warming, glaciers are melting, sea level is rising, large amounts of water on the earth evaporate and mix into the atmosphere, and strong winds occur due to temperature-pressure difference. This brings heavy rains, storms and tsunamis. For this reason, temperatures increase in winter, spring comes early, autumn is delayed, and animal migration periods are changing. In this context, the change of all these occurs with the change of climates. Plant and animal species that cannot withstand these changes either decrease or disappear completely. Global warming also directly affects human health. Scientists are of the opinion that climate changes can trigger heart, respiratory, infectious diseases, allergic and some other diseases. The warming caused by the effect of increasing temperature at the global level causes changes in other climate elements related to each other. Global warming caused by temperature increase and cause; - Drought, - Impairment of hydrological balance, - Decrease in the volume and quality of water resources, - Clean water resources mixing into the sea and water problem, - The inability of the glaciers to withstand this temperature and the increase in their melting rate, - The extinction of the living spaces of animals and consequently the danger of extinction of animals, - Rising sea level, melting of snow and glaciers, - Excessive evaporation, increase in meteorological disasters, changes in precipitation amount and regime, - Excessive rainfall or extreme drought, - The change of climates and the seasons are experienced in different ways and conditions with the change of the regions of certain climatic zones or the disappearance of some climatic zones, with the widening of some of the climate zones determined according to the location of the world, and the extinction of some of them, - More severe disasters such as avalanches and fires. In this sense, the objectives of the project are as follows; * Creating awareness about what global warming and climate change are, * Understanding the factors that cause global warming, * Internalizing the results of global warming, * Being aware of the measures that can be taken against global warming, * Learning the measures taken against global warming around the world, * Enabling young people to address global problems, * Ensuring the change of state policies on this issue, * To attract the attention of legislators on the subject, * Ensuring that its laws can impose various sanctions on the subject, * To increase the creativity of young people, * Ensuring that young people take a role in the decisions made about their future and that their opinions on the subject are taken, * Providing an environment where young people can openly defend their ideas about their future, * To encourage young people to participate in volunteering activities, * Ensuring equality of opportunity among young people, * Reaching young people with fewer opportunities, * Raising awareness that young people with limited opportunities can participate in various projects within the Erasmus Plus process, * Ensuring that cultural dialogues between young people can be formed, * To support the development of cultural dialogues between communities, * To ensure that young people are free from racism, sexism and prejudices, * Increasing the visibility of Erasmus Plus
