Objectives

Our project aims to shed light on the problems of people experiencing generational conflict in general. Generation, in general terms, refers to a group of people who were born in approximately the same years, shared the conditions of the same age, therefore had similar troubles and fates, and were obliged to similar duties. The advancement of time, the development of technology, the change in the social order, the emerging living conditions, and the benefits of time have also become different day by day. Especially in today's world, where technological acceleration has increased, the differences between generations have widened and generation differences have become more apparent. This situation has brought along problems of understanding, perspective, and communication between generations. In this context, we aimed to implement a project in this way, thinking that we can bring a solution to communication problems by improving the empathy skills of youth workers and young people. In this context, the general objectives of our project are as follows; - To ensure the destruction of these prejudices by acting on the prejudiced thoughts of all generations, - To make it clear that prejudices are caused by miscommunication and lack of sufficient knowledge on various issues, - To replace social impositions with pragmatist and supportive thinking, - To support all generations to develop their communication and social skills, - To enable people from different generations to open themselves to innovation and development, - To support society to adapt to change, - To prevent problems that arise due to opposition to change, - To make it clear that this is happening all over the world and across generations, - To support the strengthening of communication bridges between cultures and generations. In addition to these, we also have goals that we plan to put forward within the framework of our project. These objectives are as follows; - First of all, both youth workers and the people we interact with will learn about the Erasmus Plus Program and project systems. - The quality of each youth worker's daily work with young people will increase as a result of strengthening their communication skills. - The communication skills of the youth workers will be strengthened both in their mother tongue and in foreign languages. - Their skills in management will also improve. Especially youth workers who do not have individual experience will gain experience. - The self-confidence of participants with fewer opportunities or who have problems speaking in public will be supported and they will be able to overcome such problems.
