Background

1) Mathematics is not just a subject to be taught in a simple classroom setting. Mathematics is part of daily life. It cannot be confined within four walls. 2) Students have a preconceived notion about mathematics lessons at our school. The anxiety of "We will fail no matter what!" is high. We aimed to break these prejudices of the students. 3) When we can show the fun aspects of mathematics, it is an attitude and approach that deals with mathematics in depth in detail. 4) We aimed to make our school one of the preferred schools in our region. The goal of our school achieved with the project: 1) We created a "Mathematics Workshop" for mathematics lessons. We started conducting our lessons in this workshop. 2) Our school became known in our region through the project. We started accepting registrations from middle schools in our region. 3) The minimum scores of students enrolling in our school increased. 4) Interest in foreign language learning increased. Our students' foreign language speaking practice increased. 5) We had the opportunity to get to know different cultures and different countries. 6) Global friendships were established. Our students are still in contact with their foreign peers.
