In a context where disasters have almost become a part of daily life, the activities of educated journalists about disasters have become vital to reduce the negative effects of disasters on societies. The aim of the Disaster Journalism Project is to close the gap in journalism education by producing curriculum, guidebooks and digital materials related to disaster journalism. Thus, it aims to contribute to the production of a qualified labour force for media organisations in combating disasters.
