The Youth Experts project aims to give young people the opportunity to be involved in all funding decisions of the Sinnbildungsstiftung. By means of surveys in their peer group, they obtain a broader voice of youth in the foundation. Within the framework of lectures and participation on podiums, this opinion is also carried beyond the Sinnbildungsstiftung. Young people learn through the project not only project management and active participation in democratic processes, but also their self-efficacy and social skills such as a sense of responsibility and self-confidence. The main focus of the project is, on the one hand, to give young people a voice and to encourage them to use their voice in other processes and settings. On the other hand, the decisions of the Sinnbildungsstiftung are to be adapted in such a way that young people, who are the target group of the projects being funded, can contribute their voice as experts in the selection of these projects.
