Objectives

The project aimed to strengthen the professional and personal competences of youth workers and create an environment where young people with fewer opportunities could grow and experience success. It sought to enhance the partners’ capacity to plan and implement international cooperation, exchange good practices, and produce sustainable outputs applicable in social and community work. Through the joint activist initiative, the project also aimed to demonstrate that inclusion, solidarity, and creativity can take tangible form in public space, inspiring communities in both partner countries.

Background

The Sta(i)rs of Solidarity project addressed the need to strengthen the social and employability skills of young people with fewer opportunities and to provide them with their first positive international experience. Prostor plus o.p.s. works with youth facing social exclusion, low self-confidence, and limited chances for participation. The aim was to show that these young people can be active creators in an international context, not only recipients of support. The project also responded to the need to share know-how between partners – the Czech team contributed expertise in social inclusion, while CSR Malta provided knowledge in strategic communication and public relations.
