Objectives

Our project aimed to address the growing environmental challenges associated with waste management and recycling. By implementing this initiative, the team sought to raise awareness among young people about the importance of recycling and instilling habits that would contribute to social development. The main goal of our project was to increase awareness among young people about reusing waste materials and fostering a sense of social responsibility through recycling habits. Specifically, the project focused on achieving the following objectives: 1. To provide environmental awareness to the participating young people regarding the evaluation of household chemical wastes. 2. To instill a sense of responsibility in young people for protecting nature and living things. 3. To raise awareness among young people about the recycling of packaging waste and to demonstrate the impact of conscious packaging consumption on reducing waste. 4. To inform young people about the problems caused by the careless disposal of waste in nature. Our project also highlighted the economic benefits of recycling. It was understood that recycling saved energy by reducing industrial processes, decreased the volume of waste sent to landfills, lowered collection and transportation costs, and contributed significantly to the economy. It was also emphasized that recycling would reduce pollution, save energy, slow down global climate change and relieve pressure on biodiversity.
