The “The Earth Speaks When You Listen” project aimed to raise awareness among young people about environmental sustainability and climate action through non-formal education and intercultural exchange. By implementing the project, we wanted to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to become more environmentally responsible citizens and take active roles in their communities to promote sustainability. The main objectives of the project were: -To increase young people’s awareness of environmental issues, focusing on climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable living. -To empower participants with practical skills related to eco-friendly practices, waste reduction, and sustainable consumption. -To encourage intercultural exchange by bringing together young people from different backgrounds to share perspectives on environmental challenges. -To promote active citizenship and youth engagement, motivating participants to take local actions and advocate for sustainable policies. -To enhance participants’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to global environmental issues. Through a combination of interactive workshops, outdoor activities, and collaborative projects, the participants gained a deeper understanding of environmental sustainability while also developing key competences such as teamwork, communication, and leadership.
