Objectives

Our focus was to support young people to actively participate in the development of the project program, focusing largely on their learning process and learning effect. We wanted them to learn to plan, take responsibility for their own learning and realize that learning can also be fun and beautiful. We achieved this by supporting them to prepare some parts of the program on the youth exchange. Project was aiming at learning more about tolerance and solidarity in personal lives of participants as well as in society they live in. We wanted them to recognise the importance of these two values and to recognise how to practice and spread them across society. We engaged young people in different exercises (experiential exercises, debate, and creative workshops) to bring awareness about tolerance and solidarity in their lives. We wanted to encourage young participants to use more critical thinking when (social) media is in question. We brought awareness and support young people to learn about some examples how to avoid making silly decisions. We included social media into our programme, observing some lectures influencers post and engage young people in different debates. We wanted to analyse childhood stories such as Cinderella or cartoons we grew up watching to recognize these stereotypes and traces of intolerance. We used our love for theatre and digital tools to address these stereotypes and to transform one such story into a stereotype free story. We ended up transforming three such stories.
