Objectives

The ability to navigate digital platforms is recognized as key skill in the modern job market, yet our researches shown with partner organizations that many young people primarily used the internet for entertainment and lacked access to workplace training programs. This was the starting point for us to initiate "Digitalization Matters!" Erasmus+ project sought to enhance public understanding of the importance of digital education. Our project aimed to equip 36 young people with digital skills through non-formal learning techniques over an eight-day period, promote the significance of digital education through online campaigns to reach approximately 600 young people in total together with partner organizations and improve media literacy and critical thinking abilities. We have created several campaigns after the different activities including virtual meetings, youth mobility event in Germany and dissemination efforts: - https://www.instagram.com/p/C9iYMrDNQkE/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Our brainstormings, activities, results and dissemination efforts have shaped around the different topics such as digitalization, digital singularity, FOMO, Cyber bullying, media literacy in digital environment, digital entrepreneurship, future of robotics, smart cities, basic coding activities and data privacy. The project also focused on supporting disadvantaged young people and raising awareness of both the benefits and potential drawbacks of digital technologies. Through workshops and online campaigns, participants engaged with digital concepts and developed a greater interest in the project’s theme.
