Objectives

The primary aim of implementing the "SafePath" training course was to address the urgent need for enhanced safety and protection measures in international youth projects, especially in light of recent global challenges such as COVID-19, the war in Ukraine, and environmental disasters. Recognizing that while many organizations have their own internal guidelines, there was a clear need for a more standardized approach to risk assessment and prevention on an international scale. The specific objectives of the "SafePath" training course were: -Increase participants' awareness of risk and safety issues in youth projects. This included understanding the various risks involved and how to address them effectively. -Facilitate a comparison of the policies and practices of participating organizations. This helped in identifying strengths, weaknesses, and best practices in current safety measures. -Enhance participants' skills in managing risks, including handling emergency situations, accidents, and suspected cases of abuse during youth projects. -Develop a comprehensive guideline for youth organizations on organizing international youth projects. This checklist aimed to standardize safety practices and ensure a unified approach to risk management. -Increase participants' understanding of the Erasmus+ Programme and support them in creating new international projects. This included providing guidance on how to leverage Erasmus+ funding and opportunities to implement safe and effective projects. https://linktr.ee/erasmusprojects?utm_source=linktree_profile_share&ltsid=5c8279e3-0981-4325-bf71-73d26679141b%23 https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552404299590 https://www.lafienjugend.de/blog https://www.instagram.com/erasmusplus_lafienjugend/?hl=de https://www.tiktok.com/@lafien_jugend.e.v Overall, the "SafePath" training course aimed to equip youth workers with the necessary knowledge and skills to create safe, supportive environments for young people involved in international projects. By achieving these objectives, the course sought to enhance the overall quality and safety of youth activities on an international scale.
