The Entrepreneurship 2020 Action Plan is the European Commission's answer to challenges brought by the gravest economic crisis in the last 50 years. It is a blueprint for action to unleash Europe's entrepreneurial potential, remove existing obstacles and revolutionize the culture of entrepreneurship in the EU. It aims to ease the creation of new businesses and to create a much more supportive environment for existing entrepreneurs to thrive and grow. Despite the fact that nowadays is much easier than before to start your own endeavor, the number of new businesses created by young people in Europe is still low compared to other developed economies. The opportunities for the disadvantaged youth are scarce and this is one of the main reasons why this project was created. The main aim of project “Unlock the EUntrepreneur in you” was to deliver and equip youth workers and youth leaders with wide spectrum of entrepreneurial competencies which they will transfer and implement towards the main target group, young people with fewer opportunities. During the program of the course the participants were in the main role of the learning process and gained knowledge about the core basics of entrepreneurship, practical skills in establishing, implementing and organizing own enterprise, developing business plan, develop marketing skills, increasing their presentation skills etc. The project already is creating sensible effect on the youth work practice of the partners thanks to the fact that during the professional development activity the participants created new tools and methods of non-formal education for work with young people on the topic of the project. The young people equipped with entrepreneurial competencies will increase their chance of avoiding social exclusion and will increase their competitiveness in today’s European economic reality. We can outline the following objectives of this project: - The participants - youth workers, young leaders and people active in the youth field to be acquired with the concept of entrepreneurship. - During the training course new non-formal tools to work with young people in the field of youth entrepreneurship, to be created. Special emphasis will be put on working with young people with fewer opportunities. - To adapt the entrepreneurial learning process towards young people with fewer opportunities, facing economical and geographical obstacles. - EU and entrepreneurship (EUntrepreneurship) – connecting EU and youth entrepreneurs, delving into the programmes of the Union which support young entrepreneurs and how they can be implemented in the local realities of the partner organizations. - The participants in the mobility to learn how to create business plan. They will teach the young people they are working with, how to make their own business plan. - The participants to develop core business skills like presentational and public speaking skills, basic marketing skills, creating business plan etc. - Developing project management skills in the entrepreneurial field, youth projects on local level and Erasmus + projects. - To create not only capable youth workers and youth leaders but also to create multipliers that will influence positively the young people with fewer opportunities in their society.
