The GGD project aimed to address the issue of hyper-consumption in the fashion industry and promote responsible fashion consumption among youth from Estonia, France, and Spain. The main objectives of the project was for the young participants to grow more conscious of their consumption habits and their effect on society. The project also aimed for them to learn how to be more sustainable, considering their own identity manifestation through their dressing habits. The project assumes that small changes in the consumption habits of each participant, added to them sharing their discoveries with friends and family, can have a big impact on the environment over the years, for example, by decreasing the carbon footprint of all people involved.
