The "CoPlay" project aimed to empower young people and help them grow both personally and within a global context. Our main objectives were as follows: 1. Enhancing intercultural competence: The project brought together youth from different cultural backgrounds to foster intercultural understanding and sensitivity. By engaging in meaningful interactions and collaborative activities, participants had the opportunity to break down stereotypes, build empathy, and respect diverse traditions. This helped them navigate today’s interconnected world with greater cultural awareness. 2. Promoting active citizenship: One of the core aims was to inspire active citizenship among participants. By addressing global challenges in a collaborative, cross-cultural setting, participants developed a sense of responsibility toward their communities and the broader world. They gained the knowledge and confidence to drive positive change and were encouraged to take action within their environments. 3. Developing key life skills: The project focused on the personal development of participants, prioritizing skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. These competencies are not only crucial for success in both formal and non-formal education but are also essential for participants to overcome challenges and seize new opportunities. 4. Fostering global citizenship: "CoPlay" encouraged participants to understand global interconnectivity and the shared responsibility for global well-being. This promoted a deeper understanding of global issues and empowered participants to contribute to international initiatives that drive sustainable change. 5. Creating a sustainable impact: The project aimed to create lasting effects beyond its immediate scope by equipping participants with knowledge and skills that would continue to benefit them in their future endeavors. The objective was to encourage ongoing involvement in community activities and youth work, fostering long-term engagement. 6. Building a supportive network: By facilitating cooperation between participants from various cultural backgrounds, the project fostered the creation of a lasting network. This network aimed to support participants in maintaining connections and collaboration, even after the project ended. Additionally, the project integrated digital tools and green practices to enhance its sustainability. Throughout the project, we encouraged participants to use environmentally friendly approaches to mobility, in line with the program’s green agenda.
